Getting out of your building easily is critical for users and meeting code compliance.

AHS supply and install an extensive range of exit devices that improve safety egress, while still looking aesthetic.

Exit devices can now be discreet, athestic and complete with all the function you expect when exiting a building. Compliance requirements demand easy egress in emergency, and this cannot be overlooked when designing a building. If you need a door to work both ways, it can be done.
They can be designed with a handle on the outside, either linked to a mortice lock or directly into the exit device mechanism.

These are designed to handle higher traffic rates both in and out.

Exit devices are primarily designed for emergency egress, such that if you ran at the door it would open as you hit it. They are generally setup to provide egress only, unless opened from the inside, and built for emergency use.

Other options are available if you are planning on using the doors on a regular basis.

Meeting compliance

Exit devices on a door are required for retail spaces accommodating 500+ people, and for smaller meeting spaces of 100+ groups.

The more people the greater the number of doors outlined in council compliance requirements. The challenge for smaller areas maybe is managing the one exit, and how you get in at the same time.
