The 9 pin adaptor allows a Selector Electric mortice lock to be retrofitted in place of an equivilent Synergy Electric mortice lock avoiding the need to change the cabling or recieving pin. However where a power to open (3582ELE) is installed it is recommended to re-wire the door to support a 3 wire control.
Standard Lockwood Selector electric mortice locks are supplied with 3.6m cable with 12 pin connector which features a water deflecting boot.
