The Prox Rex® – WP (Weather Protected Touch to Exit) is a touch activated egress unit designed for use with Access Control Systems in more exposed environments. It is an ideal replacement for conventional push buttons, door release buttons and call switches.
The Prox Rex® – WP is designed to withstand splashes and sprays but is not designed for submersion or exposure to high-pressure water streams.

- Designed to achieve an IP55 ingress protection rating, it features a protective coating on the PCB and an EVA gasket to provide a weather protection seal
- Requires only a light touch to activate, making it perfect for fast and easy egress and an advantage for the elderly and people with accessibility needs
